Meet Nancy!

For more than 35 years, Nancy has dedicated her career to helping infants and children reach their fullest potential through compassionate, individualized pediatric physical therapy. Since becoming a physical therapist in 1989, she has worked with thousands of children across hospitals, outpatient clinics, early intervention programs, schools, and private practice, earning the trust of families and physicians alike.

Nancy is especially recognized for her expertise in evaluating infant motor development and treating torticollis, plagiocephaly, and other pediatric movement disorders. Her thoughtful, comprehensive evaluations go beyond identifying a child’s current abilities; she looks for the underlying factors that may be affecting development. Whether therapy is the right next step or a referral to another specialist is needed, Nancy is committed to guiding families with honesty, compassion, and clinical expertise. Her careful assessments have led many pediatricians to refer families to her for second opinions and specialized care.

At the heart of Nancy’s practice is a gentle, child-centered philosophy. She believes that children learn best through curiosity, comfort, and connection, not by being forced into specific positions or movements. Drawing from decades of experience in pediatric physical therapy, along with the Anat Baniel Method® for Children, the Feldenkrais Method®, dance, yoga, and Pilates, she creates individualized treatment plans that encourage natural movement and lasting developmental progress.

Beyond her clinical practice, Nancy is a respected educator and international lecturer. Since 2003, she has taught healthcare professionals throughout the United States and abroad, sharing her expertise in pediatric motor development and torticollis treatment. She developed the nationally accredited continuing education course A Gentler Approach (formerly known as A Fresh Approach to Torticollis) which has been presented at children’s hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and professional conferences across the country. She has also lectured internationally in Italy and Turkey and continues to mentor pediatric therapists through workshops and continuing education.

Nancy earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from New York University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Italian Studies and Dance from Connecticut College. She is a certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner and a certified Anat Baniel Method® for Children Practitioner. Fluent in both Spanish and Italian, Nancy enjoys connecting with families from diverse backgrounds and believes that every child deserves thoughtful, individualized care tailored to their unique journey.
